Happy Veteran’s Day!
Today is the day that we proudly honor our great Veterans who have served our country.
If you or anyone in your family have served in the military, police, or first responders,
I would like to say a huge Thank You so much for your service!
Your sacrifices help to keep our country free and preserve our sacred liberties…
Liberties that too many people take for granted.
If you haven’t served our country, today is a great day to show your appreciation for those who have.
So let us show our support for the brave men and women who have fought and protected us.
There are so many ways to show appreciation to our Veterans, and here are some ideas:
Maybe if we do a few of these things on a regular basis, we can begin to bring more light into the world and help cut down on the number of veteran suicides that are committed every day.
As a proud member of a military family (I also had Marine Corps and Navy training that I tremendously enjoyed), I take this mission personally.
Please take a moment to look around and see the beauty and gifts
in our world. I know this business can be challenging, but it’s so important to take the time to appreciate the things we have.
Thank you for being a part of my world, and thank you for allowing ME to serve YOU!!
Today is the day!
Exactly 243 years ago on this day, 56 incredibly brave men sat down to sign one of the most powerful documents to ever be signed here in America – the Declaration of Independence.
That’s something we all (hopefully) learned in our history classes or required education to become a U.S. Citizen.
But what was often left out of our education was what those brave men RISKED to sign that document.
Their fortunes. Their freedom. And in a few cases, their lives.
Every single man who signed the Declaration of Independence KNEW what they were risking, and what was at stake for them.
But they did it anyway. Why? Because they knew what mattered more than anything: Our precious FREEDOM, and our independence from the King of England, who clearly did NOT understand nor care about what we were all about here in the new colonies.
It’s that great spirit that still defines us TODAY, despite what some people in our own country are trying to do to take it away from us and steer us in another, sinister direction. But that’s a conversation for another day. 🙂
Today, we celebrate our great nation’s birthday as a free & independent nation…The greatest in the world!
I’m about to go to a cookout, then head to downtown DC tonight to watch the end of the parade & see the amazing fireworks that are lined up. I did this last year, too. Should be incredible!
Whatever you do today, I hope you enjoy it. Please take a few moments to stop & appreciate the incredible blessings we have in our lives. Speaking of which, I appreciate YOU!
Finally, if you don’t mind, I’d like to share a little more American history with you.
In case you’ve never heard this or aren’t familiar with it, please take just 11 minutes & 38 seconds to listen to this powerful story of how Francis Scott Key wrote our National Anthem, and under what conditions it was composed. This is something you MUST hear!
The powerful & moving Story of the Star-Spangled Banner, aka our National Anthem.
Please leave your comments & thoughts below!
Today is July 4th, and before the day ends, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you & your family a VERY Happy 4th of July!
Whatever you did today, I hope you enjoyed it.
I just got back from watching the fireworks right here in our Nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C.
Yes…THOSE fireworks – right on the Mall in DC.
We had a great spot right at the corner of Constitution & 19th St. NW DC.
Although I live within 30 minutes (60+ w/ traffic), it had been several years since I saw the fireworks downtown.
The first time I saw them in DC was in 1976 – our Nation’s Bicentennial (geez, I’m gettin’ old!).
They were amazing then, and they were even more amazing tonight!
As we celebrate our great Nation’s Independence Day, I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge YOU.
Thank YOU for stepping out to gain independence for YOUR family by getting into real estate investing.
Remember this: Just like our country had to FIGHT tooth & nail to gain (and maintain) our independence and our freedom, YOU have to be willing to fight just as hard. Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy. If it did, everyone would be rich, and no one would appreciate anything!
Finally, I’d like to say that I’m proud to be/have been your mentor, [newsfield name=”name”].
Keep fighting – and do your best to enjoy it! 🙂
